Thursday, September 17th is North Texas Giving Day!!! Last Year, Bat World Sanctuary won 2nd place ($3,000!) in the small organization category of “Most Unique Donors”, Don’t Forget to Feed Me Pet Food Bank won 3rd place.

This year, the Operations Director of Don’t forget to Feed Me, Liesl Manone, extended a challenge to Amanda Lollar, President of Bat World Sanctuary: If they get more donations on Giving Day than Bat World, then Amanda eats a dog biscuit. We countered with this challenge: If Bat World Sanctuary gets more donations, then Leisl eats a meal worm.
