2022 Annual Report

Dear Bat World Sanctuary Supporter,

This past year, your contributions enabled us to save 842 orphaned, injured and abused bats in the US and internationally. From Brazil to Yemen, we helped individuals and bat care professionals in 21 locations worldwide, and in the U.S., we provided help and information to bat rescuers, and assisted the public with downed bats and humane bat exclusions in 27 states. Our activism efforts include creating a volunteer bat transporter map to help bat rescuers across the U.S. save more bats, hosting interns from Australia and Spain, and expanding our bat rehabilitation workshops throughout the U.S for wildlife rescuers, veterinarians and animal control officers. Our current efforts include protecting a large colony of bats in Texas, aiding in the rescue of fruit bats in the pet trade in Japan, and expanding our nationwide educational programs.

Please take a moment to view our 2022 Annual Report magazine to see the beautiful faces of some of the bats who were saved with your support. Our report also includes more of our activism and educational accomplishments that are too numerous to list here.

As always, thank you, dear friends, for your incredible support! We could not save these precious beings without you. ♥
