A small bat was found grounded on a homeowners front porch in Lacey, Washington. Seeking help, the homeowner called a few rescuers, but was unable to make the 2 hour trip themselves to surrender the animal. After a week of keeping the bat in a box, they called us. We worked to arrange a transport volunteer, and the bat was transferred to one of the rescuers for emergency medical care.
