A lady in Spotsylvania, VA,  was tending to her garden when she realized that a baby bat had fallen from her bat house. Unfortunately, the pup was orphaned. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The baby was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive. We also gave the finder instruction to make a DIY pup catcher so the pups can get back up to mom.
