A caller reached out to us from South Ogden, UT after he noticed a bat had been roosting on the side of his home for a few days. He sent us a photo, and the bat appeared uninjured and well groomed. We explained that roosting under eaves is typical behavior for juvenile bats just learning to fly so the bat is likely okay. If the bat does not fly away in the next few days the homeowner will call us back.
