A tri-colored bat was spotted roosting under a homeowner’s carport in Fort Worth, TX. The caller was concerned as the bat appeared to not have moved in two days. However, the bat appeared uninjured and  well groomed. We explained that roosting under eves is typical behavior this time of year so the bat is likely okay. If the bat does not fly away in the next few days the homeowner will call us back.
