A red bat pup was found grounded on a porch in Mineral Wells, Tx. The finder contacted Bat World Sanctuary, and was given information on safely containing the pup. Once contained, “Fred” was collected by bat world staff from the residence he was found at. Once at Bat World, he was given fluids and a good meal. Fred will remain at Bat World Sanctuary and hand raised with our other orphaned pups until he is old enough for assessment and hopeful release back to the wild.
