A bystander in Bowie, TX found a healthy Eastern red bat mother and her pups grounded. The bats had likely been chased from a tree by a blue jay. We provided guidance as seen on this link on how to get the small family back into a tree. We also asked the caller to please let us know if any babies were abandoned so we could rescue them and hand raise them if needed.
