A finder in San Antonio, TX,  found a bat stuck to the fly trap that was hanging on the front porch.  We provided guidance on how to safely remove the bat using gloves, vegetable oil and a cotton swab.  We also located a Bat World Sanctuary trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he will be accessed for injuries and given supportive care until he is able to go free.
