An employee in San Angelo, TX was shocked to discover a little bat clinging to the inside of a toilet within the workplace. The poor bat was wet and had presumably been there for a few hours. As the bat showed a faint sign of life, the finder gave us a call. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
