An office worker from Ft Worth, TX was on their way home in the busy downtown area when they came across a grounded bat on the sidewalk. They quickly got a towel and a box to secure the bat into, knowing the downtown area was not a safe place to leave him. We located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
