An adult free-tailed bat was found grounded and unable to fly in Mineral Wells, TX. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and then rescued her.  She is uninjured but unwilling to fly so she likely has a back or other injury that is not discernible. We are providing pain medication and supportive care until she can be released back to the wild.
