Five evening bat pups fell from a well-established maternity roost in West Ft. Worth. Property owner John, who is a long-time lover of bats and supporter of Bat World, was quick to react when he spotted these babies on the ground, gathering them safely and transporting them to Bat World Midcities right away. They will be cared for until they are old enough to be on their own, and once they can fly they will be released near their original colony. A pup catcher is being added to the bat house to ensure future pups are able to get back to their mothers.
