Three adult bats were found in trouble in Mineral Wells, TX. Two of the bats were found under a building with a large roost, they were suffering from heat exhaustion. Sadly one passed away but the other one is recovering. A third bat was found by a business, covered in what appears to be silicone caulking.  She is also lactating which means she has a pup in a roost somewhere. We were able to remove the silicone with oils, bathing and fur clipping. She was also fed and ate well. With luck she can be released tonight so she can fly back to her pup.
