A passerby in Akron, OH noticed something odd looking in the bushes. Upon further inspection, they were heartbroken to find a deceased bat. However, there was a little baby still clinging to it’s mother struggling to survive. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bats and located several bat trained rescuers in the finder’s area. The baby was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be hand-raised and released back to the wild when she is old enough to survive on her own.
