A bat was found grounded at a park in Mount Holly, NC. Thankfully the bat was in good shape and uninjured and was likely chased from a tree by a bird. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and then releasing him at nightfall after the sun has gone down, by taking the box outside, placing it up on something high, then turning it on its side so the bat can fly off when ready.
