A lady in Albuquerque, New Mexico found a baby bat under the roosting area on her house siding. The baby bat was emaciated and needed to get to a rehabber as soon as possible, we had given instructions on putting a pup catcher up under the roost to try and prevent future problems.  We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The baby was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive.
