A resident in Chatham, NJ found an injured bat lying in the road. They feared the little bat may have been struck by a car, and quickly used gloves to contain the bat in a secure box. We located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
