A homeowner in Mammoth County, NJ, found a bat in her pool skimmer, the bat had likely been there over night. The bat was exhausted and dehydrated. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat as well as contact information for a Bat World Sanctuary trained rescuer in her area. We also gave information on Frog Logs, which can prevent small animals from drowning. The bat was transferred to the rescuer where he/she will be assessed and hopefully be released back to the wild.
