A bat was found on the fourth floor of an office building in Worcester, MA. Because it was such an odd place for a bat to be, the finder was not expecting to find a bat and did not know what to do with him. She scooped him into a cup and left him on the desk while she searched for a proper box to contain him in. Unfortunately, the little bat had escaped before she arrived back, but she called us anyways. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat incase he is found again and provided the info for bat-trained rescuers in the finder’s area.
