A woman found a bat stuck to fly paper in Caddo, LA. Wearing gloves and working carefully, she used coconut oil to remove the bat from the paper. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The woman transported the bat to the rescuer where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
