A bat was found stuck to a fly trap in Idaho City, ID. She used gloves and managed to remove the bat by herself using a cotton swab and vegetable oil. We provided guidance on how to keep the bat safely and comfortably contained and located a bat trained rescuer in her area. The  bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she can be assessed and hopefully returned to the wild.
