A juvenile bat was found grounded in an apartment hallway in Athens, GA. Shortly after finding the first bat, the local residents spotted another roosting up high in the corner of the breezeway. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bats and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bats were transferred to a rescuer where they will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
