A home owner in Rochelle, GA found a bat lying on the cold ground outside her home. It was well below freezing so the finder quickly scooped up the bat in a blanket and secured him in a box inside before giving us a call. We  located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild
