A concerned caller from Dallas, Texas had discovered and Eastern red bat on their lawn. Upon further inspection, they realized the bat appeared to be deceased, but had 3 little pups still clinging onto the mother. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bats and located several bat trained rescuers in the finder’s area. The babies was transferred to a rescuer where they will be hand-raised and released back to the wild when they are old enough to survive on their own.
