California – bat hanging by doorway
A bat was found hanging by a doorway in Fallbrook, CA. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
Ohio – hoary pup found grounded – photo available
A homeowner found a hoary bat pup grounded in Akron, OH. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the pup and located a volunteer transporter to make the trip from Akron to Zanesville, OH. The pups will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive in the wild.
Texas – red bat found at hotel
A juvenile red bat was found at a hotel Mineral Wells TX and brought to us by Animal Control. She will be hand-raised with other orphans until she is old enough to survive in the wild.

An evening bat pup was found on a garage floor in Brock, TX. The finder brought the bat to us in a hearse. He will be hand-raised with other orphans until he is old enough to survive in the wild.
