A bat was found on the floor of a local dress shop in Mineral Wells, TX. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and sent a transport volunteer right away. The bat was brought to us where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
Louisanna – stopped a colony of bats from being exterminated
There was a colony of bats roosting in an apartment complex in Baton Rouge, LA that was at risk of being exterminated by the landlord. We contacted state officials and alerted them to this matter, and now the landlord must wait until the fall to do a humane exclusion rather than killing off the bats.
