A baby Jamaican fruit bat was found on the ground in Nicaragua. The finder needed information on how to hand-raise the pup and release when the time comes. We provided guidance on housing, milk formulas, weaning to solid fruits and then release. 

Three baby bats from three different locations were rescued by Bat World Bulgaria in Sofia, Bulgaria. They will be hand raised, along with other orphaned bats, until they are old enough to fly well. At that time they will be released back to the wild.
