A mother bat with two babies clinging to her was attacked by a cat in Brazil. Sadly, the mother bat was killed by the cat but her babies survived uninjured. Luckily, the finder was trained in veterinary work. We provided guidance as well as book chapters and instructional videos on caring for orphaned insectivorous bats, housing, nutrition, and releasing pups back to the wild when they are ready.
