An emaciated pup was discovered lying on the ground in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. It appeared to have fallen from it’s colony and the mother was gone. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the little bat pup and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The baby was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive.
