A bat was found inside a grocery store in Mobile, AL. The staff member who found the bat reported that many bats have found their way in over the past year. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild. We also supplied information on humane bat exclusion for the owner of the store.
