A female red bat was found laying on a picnic table in Weatherford, TX. The finder used a glove to place the bat into a tree but she promptly fell to the ground so he called us. Thankfully, she is uninjured, just a little thin and dehydrated. We will provide supportive care for her until she has gained weight and is strong enough to be released back to the wild.
