A caller from Provo, UT was concerned when they noticed a bat roosting on the outside wall of a shop. The bat was wedged under the the sign on the shop. However, the bat appeared uninjured and  well groomed. We explained that roosting under eaves is typical behavior for juvenile bats just learning to fly so the bat is likely okay. If the bat does not fly away in the next few days the finder will call us back.
