A homeowner in San Antonio, TX gave us a call late last night after finding a small bat pup lying on the steps of his garage. The finder followed the instructions in our voicemail and safely contained the baby in a secure box using gloves. We called the pup’s hero back right away and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The baby was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive.
