A man in Keokuk, IA found two bats grounded behind a mirror in his basement. He called us with concern for the bats and wanted to get these little guys some help. We provided guidance on how to contain the bat safely and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
