A bat was found lying in a parking lot in East Hampton, NY and the finders knew the little bat was in need of help. They safely contained the bat with gloves and an old box from their car and brought him home. Upon arrival they immediately called us, and thanks to their quick thinking the bat was safe from the dangers of the parking lot. We located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area where the bat was transferred to a rescuer and he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
