A concerned caller from Athens, GA was wanting to help both her elderly parents and the little bat they had found roosting in their basement. The parents were unsure how to help the little bat, so the caller quickly jumped to action and safely contained the bat using gloves into a secure box before giving us a call. We located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he/she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
