A staff member from an animal shelter reached out for assistance after finding a tiny abandoned bat pup lying on the ground outside a local coffee shop in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They quickly and safely contained the bat and brought him back to their sanctuary. We provided guidance as well as book chapters on caring for orphaned insectivorous bats, housing, nutrition and releasing pups back to the wild when they are ready.
