An Eastern red bat was found grounded in a homeowners front yard in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. The bat had likely been chased from a tree by a blue jay, but was found to be healthy. We provided guidance as seen on this link on how to get the little one back into a tree. We also asked the caller to please let us know if the bat had any trouble flying away.
