A free-tailed bat was found grounded in Augusta, FL and the finder was trying to feed him Gatorade. We were alerted and reached out to the finder. We located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where she will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
