A female Mexican free-tail bat was found after having crash landed on a restaurant patio in Mineral Wells, Texas. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and sent a transport volunteer right away. The bat was brought to us where she was given fluids, a good meal, and a quick check up. She was able to be released that same night, likely to return to her pup back at her home roost.
