A pet owner in Bonham, TX discovered that their cat had caught a bat and was concerned about the bat’s condition. They gave us a call to see if we could help the little bat recover from the attack. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
