A homeowner in Tyler, TX found a mom and babies on the ground so placed them into a box and left them overnight. The mother bat was able to escape but her pups were not able to fly yet so were left behind. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the babies and located a bat-trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The pups were transferred to a rescuer where they will be hand-raised and released when old enough to survive.
