A big eared bat was found after a rain storm in Chattanooga, TN. Thankfully, he was uninjured and just a bit wet. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and as well as instructions on how to release the bat at nightfall after the sun has gone down, by taking the box outside, placing it up on something high, then turning it on its side so the bat can fly off. If the bat does not fly away the finder will call us back.
