A bat was found stuck in a cruel glue trap by a real estate agent in Arlington, VA. The agent used gloves and managed to remove the bat by herself. We provided guidance on how to keep the bat safely and comfortably contained and located a Bat World Sanctuary trained rescuer in her area. The  bat was transferred to the rescuer where he/she can be assessed and hopefully returned to the wild.  The agent also searched the home for more glue traps and threw away all that she found.
