A kind-hearted person spotted an evening bat in a puddle of water and then safely moved her to a dry location in hopes that she would fly off during the night. However, the bat was still in the same spot the next morning so Bat World MidCities was called for help. On intake, she was found to be thin and dehydrated, as well as being at risk for aspiration pneumonia.She will be monitored and provided care throughout the winter, then released in the spring when the weather is warm.
