A bat was found hanging on the side of a business in Knoxville, TN. Employee, Amelia, noticed the bat upon arrival of her shift, and was concerned when the bat had not flown off by the end of her shift. After assessing the photos provided by Amelia, we advised that that bat be left hanging to fly off during the night on his own. The bat was hanging high up on the wall and did not look to be dehydrated or injured. The finder was given contact information for local rehabbers in the event that the bat was still in the same location in the morning.
