This little one is Kolache, an adult female evening bat who was found injured and on the ground in Houston a few days ago. On arrival, thorough examination revealed a badly broken wing. After a quiet night with additional pain medication and antibiotics and a good supper, her injury was tended to this morning and she is feeling much, much better. As a result of the injury, she will join the permanent colony at Bat World Midcities.
