Mother red bat with four pups were found grounded in Tyler, TX. The finder was provided with guidance on safe containment and temporary care, and were put in touch with several rescuers in the finder’s area. The bats were transferred to Bat World MidCities by Bat World Volunteers Kandi, Jeff and Judy. 
Mother and pups will be cared for and monitored while under Bat World MidCities, in the case that supportive/additional care is needed. The bats will remain at BW MidCities until ready for release into the wild.
