A bat pup was found grounded by a pet dog in a yard in Fort Worth, Texas. The bat pup was badly injured, so the finder was given safe containment information, as well as contact information for a Bat World Sanctuary trained rescuer. The bat was transferred to the rescuer where it will be treated for its injuries and hand raised until old enough for release into the wild.
